Website privacy notice

This notice describes the features currently implemented on the Highest THC website. It does not describe conversations or transactions that take place outside this website.

Information stored in your browser

The main site uses browser local storage to remember two choices on the same browser and device:

Age confirmation

The age-verified setting records that you selected the age-confirmation button. It does not store a date of birth or identity document.

Display preference

The theme setting records your light or dark display choice.

These settings have no automatic expiry in the website code. You can remove them using your browser's controls for clearing this site's data. Clearing them resets these choices.

Information entered in forms

The delivery form reads a name and address in your browser. It checks address text locally and displays a message. A confirmation displayed by this form is not evidence that an order has been received or dispatched.

Customer registration details are saved to the configured Supabase table when that connection is available, or locally in your browser as a preview fallback. Passwords in the browser fallback are stored as hashes, not plain text. Supabase Auth is still recommended before production customer accounts.

External services and links

Yoco Checkout is used for online card payments. When you choose to pay, the website sends cart item IDs and quantities to a serverless checkout endpoint, which creates a Yoco-hosted checkout session. The website can also save a checkout record in Supabase containing the cart summary, amount, checkout reference, and logged-in customer name or email where available. Card details are entered on Yoco's hosted checkout page, not in this website's forms.

The main site requests fonts from Google Fonts. Loading those resources makes a connection from your browser to Google. These information pages use system fonts and do not request Google Fonts.

WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, and email links open your email application. Information you choose to send through those services is handled outside this website and under the relevant service's privacy practices.

Hosting and analytics

No analytics scripts are included in the website code reviewed for this notice. Hosting services can handle connection information, such as IP addresses and browser details. The hosting provider's logging, retention, and any tools added outside the website code have not yet been confirmed for this notice.

For questions about personal information, or to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have shared, email info@highestthc.co.za. Please avoid sending identity documents or sensitive information in an initial enquiry.

Details of support-message retention and any services used outside this website still need to be confirmed. This notice will need updating when those details or the website's data handling change.
